Pradip cleared his work-visa English threshold in one week
He needed PTE 29 to extend his New Zealand work visa, with seven days to get there and no computer experience to start from. He walked out with 39.
Seven days, and a test built for computers
Pradip needed an overall PTE score of 29 or above to extend his work visa, and only one week to reach it. The English itself was not his only hurdle:
- Only one week to prepare before his deadline
- Lacked basic computer skills: even using a mouse was difficult
- Typing speed far below what the writing tasks demand
- Timed, on-screen writing tasks felt nearly impossible at the start
Computer basics first, then exam technique
Pradip joined our personalised PTE coaching programme. Before any exam strategy, he received fundamental computer training to build the skills the test environment demands: using a mouse, navigating the screen, and typing with confidence.
From there, his coaching was one-to-one and built around his starting level. We drilled time-saving strategies for the writing tasks, then ran full mock tests so the real exam would feel familiar rather than frightening on the day.
39 overall, threshold cleared, visa on track
- PTE score: 39 overall
- Comfortably above the score his work-visa extension required
- Achieved in just one week of focused coaching
Pradip's result is a reminder that the goal is the threshold your visa needs, not a perfect score. We coach to the exact number that unlocks your pathway, as fast as your deadline allows.
