If you need a PTE or IELTS score for a New Zealand visa, for university entry, or for a professional registration, you should not have to spend two hours on State Highway 1 to get coached for it. Our Hamilton centre runs the same programmes as Manukau and Papakura, in Frankton, a few minutes from the city centre.
We coach migrants, students and working professionals. Most people arriving here need a specific number for a specific pathway, and the useful first step is finding out honestly how far away that number is. That is what the free assessment does, and it costs nothing.
Target Language Academy has coached PTE and IELTS since 2019. Hamilton is our newest centre and joins Manukau and Papakura.
Which test should you sit?
Both PTE Academic and IELTS are accepted by Immigration New Zealand. PTE is computer-based and marked by AI, with results usually inside 48 hours. IELTS offers a One Skill Retake if a single module lets you down. For a New Zealand visa, English is a threshold requirement: you either meet the score your pathway needs or you do not, and going higher earns you no extra points. We coach both and will tell you which suits you at the assessment.
